Nobel prizes 2019

The Nobel prize is given only to living persons. The peace prize is given at Oslo in Norway. Apart from the peace prize, other prizes were given at Stockholm in Sweden. Nobel prizes are given in six fields, as listed below:
  1. Physiology or medicine
  2. Peace
  3. Economics
  4. Physics
  5. Literature
  6. Chemistry
Physiology or medicine: 

Three persons got Nobel prize in this field for " discovery of how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability". Name of the person:
  1. William G. Kaelin jr.( USA)
  2. Sir Peter J. Ratcliffe( USA)
  3. Gregg L Semenza (UK)
This contribution will help to treatment in cancer, anemia, etc like diseases.

Peace prize:

It is given to the person who has done work to increase the fraternity between the nations and for abolition or reduction of standing armies or worked for global peace.
The prime minister of Ethiopia, Abiyed won the Nobel peace prize of 2019 for resolving the border conflict with Eritrea.

In economics:

Won by three persons for contribution in the development economics.
  1. Abhijit Banerjee ( Indian American)
  2. Esther Duflo( France)
  3. Michael Kremer  ( USA)
Development economics applies in low development countries

Physics: 

Three persons won the physics Nobel prize of 2019.
  1. James Peebles ( American Canadian) for theoretically discoveries in physical cosmology, 95 % of the universe made from dark matter.
  2. Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz ( both are from Switzerland) for the discovery of an exoplanet orbiting the solar-type star.

Literature: 

Nobel prize in literature is given to the person not for a specific book but for whole life contribution.
In 2018, Olga ( from Poland) won.
In 2019, Peter Handke (from  Austria)

Chemistry:

Three persons won the chemistry Nobel prize in 2019 for the development of lithium-ion batteries.
