It s not emitted directly but is formed by the reaction of primary pollutants, some examples are :- Smog (a mixture of smoke and fog),
- Ground-level ozone ( formed by the reaction of Hydrocarbon (HC) and Nitrogen oxides in the presence of sunlight),
- acid rain,
- Persistent organic pollutants

Primary air pollutants are directly emitted from the source such as Co2, Co, etc.The following are Primary Pollutants:
