- Cholas were subordinate to Pallavas kings later empire was established in 985 A.D. Rajaraja I and Rajendra I were the most powerful Chola ruler. Rajendra I was the son of Rajaraha I and he raided Sri Lanka and Southeast Asian countries.
- Chola empire was divided into many regions and regions were further divided into Kottams, Nadu, Tehsil, and Village.
