(i) Mishmi Hills ( मिश्मी पहाड़ियाँ )
(ii) Lipulekh Pass (लिपुलेख दर्रा)
(iii) Beas River (व्यास नदी )
(iv) Rihand Dam (रिहन्द बांध )
(v) Amarnath (अमरनाथ)
Mishmi Hills ( मिश्मी पहाड़ियाँ ):
- Mishmi hills are located in the North-Eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh.
- It is named after the Mishmi tribes.
- It is the junction of the Northeastern Himalaya and Purvanchal range.
- The major area of the Dihang Dibang biosphere reserve is located in the Mishmi hills.
Lipulekh Pass (लिपुलेख दर्रा):
- Lipulekh is a Himalayan pass located between India and China.
- It is located near the Trijunction of India, Nepal, and China ( in Uttarakhand).
Beas River (व्यास नदी ):
- Beas river rises at Rohtang la ( Beas Kund) from central Himachal Pradesh.
- Beas river is known as Vipasa in ancient India.
- Manali has situated on the bank Beas river.
- Beas river completely lies in India and the mouth of the river is Satluj.
Rihand Dam (रिहन्द बांध ):
- Rihand dam is also known as Govind Vallabh pant Sagar. The Rihand dam is on the Rihand River, a tributary of the Son river.
- It is at Pipri ( near Renukoot) in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.
- Singrauli and Sonbhdra region has transformed from an agricultural-based society to an industrial-based society due to the construction of the Rihand Dam in the region.
Amarnath (अमरनाथ):
- Amarnath is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimages and it is famous for the natural formation of Shiva linga from snow in winter.
- It is located at Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
