Social geography is the study of the relationship between society and the physical environment. Some important sub-fields in Social Geography are Behavioral geography, welfare geography, the geography of leisure, cultural geography, gender geography, historical geography, and medical geography.
Urban Geography is the study of urban areas and urban planning.
Political Geography is the study of the relationship between polity and geography. Electoral geography and military geography are some important sub-fields of political geography.
Economic Geography is the study of the relationship between the economic nature of geography.
