Before the development of radio and telegram, the means of transport and communication were similar. The use of transport and communication depends on our needs to move things. Human beings use different methods to move objects, things, and ideas from one place to another.
The following are the three major types of transport:
- Land mode
- Waterway
- Air mode
Roads, railways, and pipelines are also the main land transport means of land route.
Inland waterways and seawater routes are the main means of waterways.
National and international air routes are major in air transport.
