As per German Geographer, Ratzel,
Human geography is the study of the relationship between the human world(cultural environment) and the physical environment( natural world).
The scope of human geography is very broad as it is an interdisciplinary subject of physical geography, social science, and science.
In broadly the following studies are included in the human geography:
Human geography emphasizes the study of the evolution of geographical thought from environmental determinism to radical and feminist geography.
Human geography has many broad fields of study as settlements geography( study of human settlements), economic geography( study of resources and technology, development), regional development( study of regional planning), and political geography which includes the concept of states and nations, etc.
Infrastructure such as houses, villages, cities, ports, industries, and agricultural activities are created by human beings using the resources provided by the physical environment.
Human geography helped the development of technology after proving a better understanding of natural laws. For example, early humans discovered fire by understanding the concept of friction.
Taylor's concept of Neo-determinism(one of the perspectives of human geography) taught us the concept of sustainability the development.
