Answer.

The digital divide can be seen between developed countries and developing countries. Developed countries have mostly passed on access and benefits of information and technology to their citizens while developing countries have lagged behind in providing information technology to their citizens. It is called the digital divide.

The digital divide is the difference between the digitally literate and the digitally illiterate population.

The digital divide is the gap between a population that is connected to the digital world through information technology and the Internet, and a population that is not.

The digital divide of the population indicates the uneven distribution of opportunities for emerging IT technology around the world.

The digital divide exists even in countries like India, metro cities, and urban areas that are well connected to the digital world while the rural population lags behind in connectivity to the digital world.
