Mount K2 ( 8611 meters) is the highest peak of the Karakoram range, it is in Ladakh union territory ( now in Pok). Mount K2 is the second highest peak in the world after Mount Everest ( 8848 meters)
Kangchenjunga ( 8586 m) is the highest peak in India and the third-highest peak in the World after Mount Everest and mount K2. Kangchenjunga is in Great Himalaya and locatted in Sikkim.
Nanga Parbat ( 8126 m) is in the Western Himalayas and it is located in Ladakh ( in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir).
Anai Mudi ( 2,695 meters) is the highest peak of the western ghats. It is located in the Idukki district of Kerala.
