Evergreen Forests are found in tropical climates where annual rainfall exceeds 200 cm. Evergreen Forests are found in the following regions;

• western ghats
• Lakshadweep
• Andaman and Nicobar Islands
• North Eastern States except Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh
• Coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and West Bengal
