River Indus and Ganga rivers are both Himalayan rivers and they are perennial in nature as both originated from glaciers.
The origin of the River Indus is near Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. The Indus rivers rise in Tibet near Lake Mansarovar. River Indus originated north of the Great Himalayas.
The headwater of the Ganga is called Bhagirathi and it originated in the Gangotri glacier.
