Answer.

The Indian subcontinent is a physiographic region located in South Asia and is mainly located on the Indian Plate.

The Indian subcontinent is bordered by the Himalayas to the north, the Sulaiman mountain range to the northwest, the Puruvachal range to the northeast, the Bay of Bengal to the east, the Arabian Sea to the west, and the Indian Ocean to the south.

Due to the above physical limitations, the Indian subcontinent has developed a unique socio-cultural which is collectively known as the Indian culture.

The Indian subcontinent includes the countries of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
