Kunchikal Falls is the biggest waterfall in India. It makes 455 meters fall. It is on the Varahi river and is located in the Shimoga district of Karnataka.
Shivasamudram Falls is the second biggest waterfall in India, it is on the Kaveri river. Shivasamudram Falls is located in the Chamarajanagara district of Karnataka. Hydroelectricity is being generated from this fall and power is supplied to Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Kolar Gold Field.
