As of November 2022, India has 28 states and 8 union territories.
Out of 28 states, there are five (5) states in India that do not have any international border and do not lie on the coast. The names of those five states are as follows:
Haryana
Madhya Pradesh
Chattisgarh
Jharkhand
Telangana
Out of 8 Union Territories, there are two (2) Union Territories which do not have an international border or lie on the coast.; The names of the union territories are-
Delhi
Chandigarh
