Gita’s Niskam Karmayoga tells us that we should keep doing our duties without expecting personal benefits or the results of our actions. Only we should do our duties, we should not desire the fruit of it.

Niskam Karmayoga can be helpful in preventing depression and suicide in the following ways -

Depression and suicides often arise when we do not receive the desired thing. Not getting the desired results gives us disappointment and deep sadness, which leads us to depression and suicide.
