a) There is a general perception that adhering to ethical conduct may face difficulties for yourself and cause problems for the family, whereas unfair practices may help to reach career goals.
b) When the number of people adopting unfair means is large, a small minority having a preference towards ethical means makes no difference.
Examine the above statement with its merits and demerits.

अ ) एक सामान्य धारणा है कि नैतिक आचरण का पालन करने से स्वयं को भी कठिनाई का सामना करना पड़ सकता है और परिवार के लिए भी समस्या पैदा हो सकती है, जबकि अनुचित आचरण जीविका लक्ष्यों तक पहुंचने में सहायक हो सकता है।
ब) जब अनुचित साधनों को अपनाने वालों की संख्या बढ़ी होती है, तो नैतिक साधन अपनाने वाले अल्पसंख्यक लोगों से कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता।
उपयोग कथनों कि उनके गुण दोषों सहित जांच कीजिए।

Meenu keeps telling her friends that she is fond of social service. Her friends notice that she, however, does not participate in any social welfare activities. One of her friend's father is associated with a non-governmental organization( NGO) and he frequently organizes social welfare activities such as the free distribution of clothes and medicines to the poor segments of society. Meenu's friends asked her many times to contribute some time to the NGO Meenu showed no interest.
What probable explanations can be given for Meenu's conduct? Justify psychologically.
मीनू सदैव अपनी सहेलियों को यह बताती रहती है कि उसे समाज सेवा से बहुत लगाव है। उसकी सहेलियों ने पाया कि वह किसी भी समाज कल्याण क्रियाकलापों में सहभागिता नहीं करती। उसकी एक सहेली के पिता एक गैर सरकारी संगठन ( एन. जी. ओ.) से संबंध है तथा वह समाज के गरीब वर्गों के लिए निस्तर समाज कल्याण क्रियाकलाप जैसे मुक्त कपड़े एवं दवाइयों का वितरण आयोजित करते रहते हैं। मीनू के सहेली ने कई बार एन.जी.ओ. के लिए समय देने के लिए कहा पर मीनू इसमें कोई रुचि नहीं दिखाई।
मीनू के व्यवहार के लिए क्या संभावित स्पष्टीकरण दिए जा सकते हैं? मनोवैज्ञानिक तौर पर औचित्य सिद्ध कीजिए।
