Answer.
Inclusive development means the development that benefits all communities, irrespective of their socio-economic condition. In inclusive development, the tribal population develops the same development that of other societies (such as Jain society or Baniya Samaj).
The strategy of inclusive growth aims to promote economic growth that is equitable and sustainable as it promotes the improving the standard of living of all members of society including weaker sections of society like Women, Disabled people, poor people, minorities, or tribal people.
Elements for inclusive growth include financial inclusion, technological inclusion, economic inclusion, and social inclusion.
Financial inclusion includes equal access to financial resources like Banks and credit to all populations, irrespective of their socioeconomic status. The Indian government launched the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana in 2014 to open bank accounts for all populations.
Technological inclusion includes access to information technologies and systems like mobile and the internet to all populations. It aims to promote digital literacy and reduce the digital divide in the country. The Digital India program has been launched by the Indian government in July 2015 to inclusive access to technology for all populations.
Economic inclusion means access to economic opportunities for all populations, especially weaker section of societies. Skill India program in 2015 and Stand Up India in 2016 were launched to enable all people in society for equal economic opportunities.
Inclusiveness and sustainability are two key objectives of inclusive growth as they are interconnected;
Inclusive growth fulfills the objective of inclusiveness -
Inclusive economic growth creates equal economic opportunities that benefit all members of society such as a weaker section of society, women, minorities, and the poor. So, all the members of society get equal economic opportunities in inclusive growth.
Inclusive growth removes structural barriers like discrimination, lack of access to education, and limited access to financial resources, which can limit economic growth for certain groups. Removing these barriers increase the inclusiveness of all individuals in society, by promoting social, economic, and political justice.
Inclusive growth fulfills the objective of sustainability;
Inclusive growth ensures the participation of every community equally in economic growth, this promotes greater stability and resilience to society and also for the environment. So, inclusive growth promotes sustainability in society as well as in the environment.
In conclusion, we can say strategies of inclusive growth aim to promote economic growth that is equitable and sustainable together as it involves raising the standard of living of all members of society irrespective of their socio-economic status, and it also cares about environmental conservation for long-run economic growth.
