Answer.

Left Wing Extremist ( LWE) is also known as Naxalism or Maoism. They are most found in Central India in states like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, and the periphery of these states.

In these areas, there is low socio-economic development, and there is very high-income inequality, and these are considered the cause of the rise of Left Wing Extremists.

Bringing back citizens to the mainstream who are affected by left-wing extremist ( LWE) doctrine, requires a multi-faceted approach.

Here are some corrective strategies that can be implemented:

Minimizing socio-economic disparities:

Left-wing extremists often thrive in regions with significant socio-economic disparities. Government should focus on addressing these disparities by implementing inclusive economic policies and improving access to education, healthcare, and basic infrastructure. Government should focus on job creation in these areas. These initiatives could reduce grievances that fuel extremism.

Investment in Education:

Education plays an effective role in countering extremist ideologies. Government should invest in quality education that promotes critical thinking, tolerance, and democratic values.

Enhancing governance and transparency:

Strengthening governance structures and promoting transparency and accountability are crucial for rebuilding trust and addressing the concerns of Left-wing extremist-affected citizens. Efforts should be made to ensure the efficient delivery of public services, reduce corruption, and increase citizen participation in decision-making processes. Government should focus on institutional reforms, decentralization, and promoting community engagement.

Promoting social inclusion and cultural sensitivity:

Left-wing extremist-affected citizens often feel marginalized and alienated from mainstream society. Encouraging social inclusion and promoting cultural sensitivity can help bridge the trust deficit. Therefore, inter-community dialogue, cultural exchange programs, and diversity should be promoted. Efforts should be made to promote equal rights and opportunities for all citizens.

Engaging in dialogue and reconciliation:

Meaningful dialogue and reconciliation initiatives can help bridge the gap between left-wing extremist citizens and the state.

Strengthening security and the rule of law:

A String security force is essential for countering left Wing extremist activities and creating a healthy environment for social and economic development. Government should also strengthen the rule of law, ensuring access to justice for all citizens.

Providing rehabilitation and reintegration support:

Government should create a healthy environment that encourages acceptance and forgiveness while offering vocational training and livelihood support to facilitate their transition back into mainstream society.

In conclusion, Left-wing Extremist is indeed the one of major problems of today's society. It is crucial to address the root cause of left-wing extremist ideologies while promoting an inclusive and equitable society that offers opportunities for social and economic growth to all citizens. Implementing these corrective measures requires a coordinated effort involving various stakeholders, including government, civil society, communities, and international partners.
