A global approach to climate change:
They mainly focus on three approaches:
- Renewable energy adoption
- Energy efficiency Machine/Devices
- Cutting Methane Emission
The above-said approach is not feasible for developing countries like India. It is so for the following reasons.
- Inadequate funding
- Lack of cutting-edge technology
- Can not reduce methane emission
- lack of storage and battery facilities
- Ignoring per capita emission
- Western countries have nucleated families
India's approach to climate change:
Mission Life: Behavioural changes to individuals to combat climate change.
Carbon Sink:
1.97 billion tonnes of CO2 between 2005 and 2019
2.5 to 3 billion tonnes Co2 by 2023
Emission Intensity reduction:
Target to reduce 45 % by 2030 from 2005 level
