Please read my previous article, What is Social Science, if you have not read it. In this article, we will understand, why we need to study social science.

Social science examines how people interact with each other and their environments, studying societies, behaviors, cultures, and institutions.

Social Science helps us to understand the following things:

Understanding Human Behavior:

Social science examines why people think, feel, and act the way they do.

It helps us understand the complexities of human behavior and the factors that influence it.

Addressing Social Issues:

It helps in analyzing and addressing present social issues like inequality, poverty, caste discrimination, pollution, and urban waste. It also helps us to solve the said problems.

Improving Communication:

By studying social dynamics, social science helps improve communication and relationships both in personal and professional settings.

Informed Decision-Making:

Knowledge gained from social science can guide decisions in various fields, including public policy, business, education, and health.

Ultimately, social science helps us understand society, enabling us to navigate complex social problems and contribute meaningfully to societal progress.
